Default Image hp 614c

Hallo,

kann mir jemand eine Anleitung geben, wie ich von meinem hp614c ein Image auf eine SD-Karte bekomme?

Hi,

how can I create an Image of my hp614c on an SD-Card? I want to update it on Windows Mobile 6.1, but at first I'd like to make an backup SD-Card of the original german image.

Thanks Uwe

you backup your current rom through activesync, the tool can be download here, run the Get_NB0.bat and the resulting nbo can be renamed to flash.dio you can use to restore original rom

sorry you can't image the device in the same sense as imaging a pc. Technically you can backup the file system(imgfs) too but you can't restore it to the device
the method I told you above only backup the os image (ROM), to backup the data you need to use separate program such as spb backup instead.

Thanks a lot.
That means for me, I can restore my complete ipaq in 2 steps. At first I backup the rom via your tool and then I restore the backup which I made with sk tool or so.

Hi,

Not really ... SK Tools is to backup data, not programs and settings. You'll need to lay on hands anyhow if you flash a new image ( i can recommend v31 build 21888 ) . Reinstalling programs and making settings is part of the life of a flasher.
