Just to be absolutely sure before I flash this ...

If I'm on rooted stock 4.4.2 with baseband version n900vvrucnc4 with kernel version 3.4. 0 and safestrap installed ... I should be able to flash this, right? I'm not missing anything?

You should be good to go. Just follow the Retail Instructions / Coming From Stock NC4 OTA.

In addition to those instructions, before flashing Beanstown106ís Stock Rooted ROM... I would also make a backup in Safestrap of your current Stock ROM.

And just to be extra careful, I used these 2 apps to backup my IMEI: (Here And Here).

Afterwards... copy all the backups to somewhere safe like onto your computer. I haven't had to try to restore the IMEI yet, so I can't say for sure how well those backup apps work.... but the apps themselves confirmed that they successfully created the backups, so at least it makes me feel a little more secure in case I screw my IMEI up playing around with my phone.

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but a Google search of your 9009 error led to a thread where the person said they logged into their account through the Verizon website and were able to change the settings from Premium to Basic on the voicemail. Apparently, after doing this, they got a prompt a few minutes later to set up the Visual Voicemail on the phone and it sounds like it fixed it for them--- https://forums.motorola.com/posts/95...=792598#792598

Also.... someone at this post said Verizon would have to reprovision the Visual Voicemail to have it work correctly-- http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=190

Here's another link to the stock visual voicemail app that you could try as well: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2443

Hey, we're supposed to flash the kernel after we flash the rom by rebooting into download mode ... but download mode doesn't allow you to flash anything via safestrap, so are we supposed to flash the kernel via odin, and if so ... why isn't that mentioned in the instructions?

EDIT: Okay, so I searched for "odin" and "download" in this thread and, yeah, looks like odin is a requirement ...

Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to flash the nc2 kernel over the nc4 kernel I currently have using odin? I saw the tutorial on returning everything to stock with odin, but I just need to flash the kernel to install this mod, and the stock tutorial doesn't tell you how to flash a kernel ...

Any help much appreciated!

Just DL the kernel. Extract to pc desktop or preferred location. Put phone in DL mode. Open Odin hit the ap tab and find the extracted file. Plug in phone (yellow com # should show up in the upper left) and hit start.
