@bender_007

somehow the settings stopped sticking for me after reboot. my dialed numbers are still there but i have to push Apply button to enable them after a reboot (was working fine before). running last cloudy's kernel for G2 KK (1.6). not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that i installed a new screen panel.

edit: doesn't stick on latest Dorimanx kernel as well.

edit 2: just checked kcal file under /drivers right after a reboot and it had the default values (255). i needed to edit kcal_ctrl too (OK to 1) in order for changes to take effect. (had to change permissions for both files beforehand). seems like the app fails to do so?

edit 3: it worked after enabling init.d support. not sure how did it work for me before without it being enabled.

also, did you give up on adding gamma controls?

you might think that but its shocking how much the colours can change also being able to remove a "said" colour tint, i know this first hand due to having a nexus 5 and also being able to tweak the gamma control sure helped with the colours (both screens are ips)

also look up gamma control nexus 5 and here's a small video of a nice little app being used on a nexus 5

@bender_007

can you share the unit.d script that's created after setting custom values? tool doesn't create one on stock LP.

nevermind, i found my old script. enabling init.d support with Universal unit.d app and manually placing the script did the job.

Thanks for this! I have been looking for a tool which could get rid of the blue color temperature that plagues this phone.

Now does anyone know of a way to increase saturation? The slightly dingey colors are the only thing keeping it from being as good as my One X's screen.
