I'm tempted to go buy one from best buy since there 50bucks would be a upgrade from my s3 I don't have use for 4g and would get rid of my gift card PS: on contract

Keep in mind that this phone must be used on an verizon prepaid account. I believe they let you switch to postpaid after 6 months or so. Also not technically an upgrade from an S3, more like a sidegrade :P

Just want it now lol or hoping the new moto 4g has CDMA enabled really want to get rid of my s3 miss my old s3 with unlocked boot loader before it craped

bypass activation
I was shown another trick to bypass the activation (4.4.2)

At the main activation screen tap the four corners (top left, top right, bottom right, bottom left). It has not brought me to the activation screen since.

May help others.. just fyi. I was able to get onto wifi and google play and access everything besides cell network.
