Hello, I have an i9505. I wasn't using my cover at the time and the camera somehow got smashed. I bought this as a replacement:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3310865544...84.m1497.l2649

It worked but was faulty (it had artefacts on photos and videos) so I asked for a replacement and he sent one. It had even more artefacts, I'm almost certain he's selling used parts as new but that's another issue.

Anyway, it's tough to find an i9505 camera at a reasonable price. But would this do?

Thank you!

No, the glass broke off the front and covers were cheaper so I tried that at first but the image was off somehow, can't remember exactly but it was pretty awful. I've since thrown the broken one away anyway.

What was the conclusion of this? My sensor has some burnt pixels and I'd like to replace it.
Also, I read that the i9500 sensor is better than the i9505 sensor anyway.
