Thanks for the update. I now have a better understanding after going through this thread and have shortlisted to receiver #2. Btw, many of the receivers that you have posted on the first page of this thread are readily available from aliexpress as well (after much googling), at a fraction of the cost with free shipping, at least, for the part of the world where I stay. I have a cheapo receiver off ebay. It works fine with my cheapo base from ebay. Possitioning is important, I guess better basses help with this.

It is 2mm thick at the thickest point (0.08inches). It bulges the case a bit. I am not worried about the bulg, but am worried that the IP67 rating is ruined.

Anyone have thickness measurements for other QI receivers?
