It depends on you actually, if you like customising your phone and flash custom roms and even if you have a low budget for a new phone then go for it. I have the one and love it i did had a problem with the touchscreen once, but it went away by just clean flashing my rom.

I loved this phone since I got it in September and I wanted to love it even more. Sadly, touchscreen issues randomly started appearing last April at random. I had been using Euphoria ROM for a while and things were perfect, but at random one day I wasn't able to type fast anymore. Ghost touches, not recording my touches, it was so annoying, I just had to get rid of it. Moving on to the HTC One M9... It was awesome while it lasted though!

That sucks man, i had that to but mine disappeared. I just flashed the 44 cm build via fastboot a couple of time even tried custom roms and it vanished never had the same problem again. Hope it never returns or i will be pissed. But any way good luck with the m9 my next phone will definitely will not be a oneplus.

Bro, I tried everything... going back to stock, 20 ROMS, kernels... Nothing got it back to normal. Oh well! Glad the person I sold it too is not a fast typer! Lol.
