N8010:
Came from ARHD 11 and dirty flashed ARHD 21. No Wifi.
Flashed the Boeffla Kernel and Wifi is working without any additional fix.

gonna love to try dis rom... a friend has N8000 tablet & wants me to pimp it for him... where can i start cos its OS current version is; 4.1.2!

first thing you gonna do is to install the custom recovery by ODIN (download it from here: http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNote10.1/recovery/HighOnAndroidv1CWMRecoveryGTN8000.tar )

then you're good to flash the rom .zip by CWM recovery ( download it from here: http://www.androidrevolution.org/do...file=Android_Revolution_HD-Note_10.1_21.0.zip )

compatability mode problem

Hi, I just installed the v21 rom and is working pretty well. Unfortunately I can not install:HD Revolution ROM Compatibility Pack for N8010 & N8013 - V11.x. It stacks in aroma mode and freezes.
is there any other ways to install this mode, because it's crucial for me to install the exchange active sync accounts on this tab.
update: i managed to install it through aroma, but the tab wont start, stacks on black screen after the samsung note 10.1 logo. any ideas how to get this things to work.
I am on n8010 tab.
please any advice as son as possible.

My steps. Hope it works for you.
Installed Revolution ROM. Rebooted, wireless doesn't work. went through setup skipping steps that required Internet access.
Rebooted installed Boeffla Kernel.
Rebooted Wireless turns on and networks seen but don't actually connect.
Rebooted and installed the wireless fix from GNABO
Rebooted wireless connects

I just wanted to leave my experience here for those struggling with WiFi on the 8013. I used the steps above and now have working WiFi on my 8013. Thanks!

However, as has been mentioned, the model is still listed as 8000 in settings because flashing the compatibility pack causes it to boot to a black screen. Can't win them all...

If I remember correctly there is a problem with aroma with certain recoveries... This might be what's wrong but I can't remember if it's twrp or Cwm...

I loaded the 21 version of this ROM coming from ver 11 so it's been a while since I've flashed anything to it. Everything was working fine except the Wifi. The compatibility pack installed for me but it prevented the ROM from loading. I tried another stock kernel I found in XDA somewhere just to try (don't remember which exactly). The ROM did not load and the Ext SD card stopped reading even in recovery, so clearly that didn't work XD

I followed the suggestion of others who tried the Boeffla (my experience here) and now everything is working beautifully. Learned how to create my own odin flashable(s) through the experience so a lesson worth learned.

Great battery life, zippy, fast, clean experience... I will have a better idea of performance once I get everything loaded back up. I had quite a few apps before. Happy to be up and running since this is the tablet I mainly use when I meet with clients.

Just curious. where is the "stock kernel" that is included with this ROM sourced from? Kinda weird the 8013's are having issues with it.

You may change the model name in buildprop (located in /system)

both versions gave me a black screen. I have CWM recovery

fixed by flashing boeffla-kernel-3.0-beta7-Samsung-n801x.recovery.zip, wifi in tha house now

I'm using the very latest (3.0 beta 7). I downloaded it from here. This is the file I loaded using ODIN:

If you read this update for beta 7 in the main Boeffla thread, it mentions that beta 7 should fix some booting issues. This is the only version I've used, so I can't comment on the others. Everything has been running beautifully on my end since install.

I attached a screenshot of the kernel I am running. I haven't tried the compatibility pack yet since it was giving me a bunch of issues booting before I loaded the Boeffla kernel. Hence the model # is wrong in the ROM, but the kernel version is correct.

It is not possible to install whatsapp on this rom. I was able to export the apk file from my phone to thee tablet but was unable to install cos the install button was inactive. I could do this with the stock rom that came with it.

I have tried several ways to get this rom to work. I get no wifi, and when I use the compatibity fix, it won't boot. I add the "beo" kernel, it won't finish booting. I really want to try this rom, but it won't work for me.

Hello! First of all, this is perfect, very fast, finally my tablet is good to use! Wifi work, bluetooth work, everything is running smooth. But I need a help.
When I create a new user (multiple users on tablet) and I try to add a google account, it says something like that "impossible to login" the reason is a problem with the google server comunication. I can just connect on the main tablet user.

how do I fix it?

ps: on the original ROM works well.

What I did:
Wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, wipe system, installed Revolution HD, installed GAPPS 4.4.2 (google apps) and DONE! now it is working!
