I have the S3 T999v Wind running on android 4.4.2. I used TowelRoot v3 and it says my phone is not supported. How else can I root my phone?

the real question is WHY do you want to root ?

if you want to root to flash custom rom ... then you dont need to root ... just flash custom recovery (twrp) and then flash rom from the custom recovery
.
