Dear Experts..

I bought HTC Desire 5088 from China for my father
and it doesnt have Google Play services and has Blinkfeed with Chinese News feeds

To change all that i wanna ROOT this device and make some needed changes
Have already Unlocked the Bootloader,
But this Phone has weird old HBOOT version:-
Kinldy check the results from Fastboot command -
C:\Users\AB\Desktop\FASTBOOT>fastboot getvar all

(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 0.35.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: N/A
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 1.80.1403.14
(bootloader) version-misc: UNKNOWN SHIP S-ON
(bootloader) serialno: HC43PWE00770
(bootloader) imei: 35519500000100
(bootloader) meid: 35519500000100
(bootloader) product: z4td
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-SP8830
(bootloader) modelid: 0P3Z20000
(bootloader) cidnum: HTCCN704
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 0mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: Generic
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: f75a5d23
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 12
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
all: Done!
finished. total time: 0.038s

anyhow, i thought to try the CWM Recovery file for HBOOT version 1.02 (which seems to work for HTC Desire 500)
When i run Fastboot command -> fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
That goes sucessful as:-
C:\Users\AB\Desktop\FASTBOOT>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

sending 'recovery' (6982 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.309s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.577s]
finished. total time: 0.886s

However, when i try to enter Recovery Mode
It just keeps the message "Entering Recovery... " on htc whte screen
i let it wait for 30 minutes and then had to power off the device..

Could any of you Experts kindly Help me out..
With suggestion of approach or maybe a different verison of CWM recovery file which i should try?

Any help would be highy appreciated
