HOW TO ENABLE SIM SERVICE OF O3d ROMS COMPATIBLE ON LG THRILL 4G!!

I was experimenting LG optimus 3D custom ROM on LG thrill 4G and most of them had no service of SIM on phone.Recently I have found a flashable custom kernel by samno named promtheius that solves this issue and makes most O3D ROMs run smoothly on LG thrill 4G.

INSTRUCTION ON FLASHING O3D ROM WITH PROMTHEIUS KERNEL:

-first download any ROM given below but appropriate promethius kernel zip from provide link and place it to root of your SD card.
-boot into CWM recovery
-go to "wipe data/factory reset".
-go to "wipe cache
-go to "advanced">"wipe dalvik cache"
-go to "install zip from sd card">"choose zip from sd card"
-when flashing ROM completes again go to "install zip from sd card">"choose zip from sd card">select the appropriate promethius zip
-when process completes restart phone and you will find SIM service working correctly as it should be.

{NOTE:please Flash Promethius+ For 21E Base Or If Your Using A Rom With Kernel Version With "+" At The End.

I don't think the kernel has much to do with it. Just make sure your APNs are set and you should be good to go. Changing the flex.xml file also helps improve network speeds.

Yah,In case there's no tower or any call service from SIM.This is the easiest method to solve SIM service.

It has every thing to do with the kernel if I flash Prometheus rom I lose service even on the right base and then if I flash thiaz03D's kernel I get service back because of this I can't use samno kernels I can't seem to find anyone else with this problem it might be just my device I don't know.

I rooted my LG thrill and unlocked with code and installed clockworkmod. I tried nearly all roms and kernels threaded here but there is one problem: ROMs which have 3D not have sim card service and opposite. can you help me?

Honestly, I found that the ThrillzGB kernel is the best one for my phone. It allows every single rom I've ever tried to work, so long as that rom was gingerbread. I know for a fact that this kernel will not work on the newer ICS.

I saw your reply on promethius ROM thread too.The actual problem you are not getting SIM service is because you installed GB custom ROM over Froyo.Please go back to 2.2 version and upgrade your firmware to GB by LG Update tool.After you have updated to Gb you ca flash any custom GB builc custom ROM as like that of promethius.:D

Hey guys, need a little help.

Baseband-v21e

So far everything seems to work except that i can only get edge. Before update and flashes i got edge, H H+
Any ideas?

What exactly is the procedure i mean the rom miuiv5 is jellybean or ics i dont remmember will the promethius kernel work for that and the steps are like this right?
1.flash the rom
2.flash the kernel
3.reboot viola.
