Sorry to post this here ( i created another thread), but hsbadr, can you please assist or suggest what to do?

I had Alliance ROM and tried to flash Jasmine 5.0, but the phone restarted before it finished and now the phone only show either the "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" logo or download mode, recovery is gone.

When I try to enter recovery mode, the phone vibrates once and the screen stays black if i release the power button, but keep holding volume up and home.
If i dont release power, it keeps vibrating and a black screen.

I tried restoring to any possible image, MJE, NC2, NC4 and OB6, using Odin 3.09. All fail.

Tried using a Pit file, since the other error states that it cant find a pit file, that also failed.

Odin log is with Pit file:

On the phone, it says the following:

odin mode
product name: sm-n900v
current binary: Samsung official
system status: official
knox kernel lock:0x0
knox warranty void:0x0
qualcom secureboot: enable (csb)
AP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A2, P1
write proctection: Enable
UDC start (this is in red)
MMC: mmc_write fail
odin: flash read failure (This is in red)

That list is the same, no matter what.

Is anything else I can try or this phone just gone?

Please help!

Here's how it may recover, but without root access:
Reinstall/update Samsung USB drivers for N900V (find the exe & download from here ) >>> Open Odin >>> select this in PIT (this will tick repartition) >>> select N900VVRUEOB6 tar in AP >>> tick NAND ERASE ALL >>> start

This will erase everything & repartition.

From here:

BACKUP your data to external storage
REMOVE external SD card
DOWNLOAD N900V_JasmineROM_v5.0.zip to internal storage & CHECK MD5
REBOOT to Safestrap recovery
DELETE all ROM slots & make Stock Slot active
WIPE everything (system/data/cache/dalvic)
FLASH N900V_JasmineROM_v5.0.zip - BE PATIENT !

When I flashed the ROM, the phone rebooted by itself with no SS option and stuck at the galaxy note 3 screen.

I thought it was ready for part 2, flash the second part, as stated here:

REBOOT to Download mode
DOWNLOAD N900VVRUEOB6_PartialFirmware.tar.md5.7z to your PC & CHECK MD5
EXTRACT N900VVRUEOB6_PartialFirmware.tar.md5 using 7-Zip
FLASH N900VVRUEOB6_PartialFirmware.tar.md5 via Odin in AP slot

And thats where im stuck.

Go to youtube look up surge rises watch his video step by step.

Same result, fail on Odin.

On the phone:

MMC: mmc_write fail
erasing userdata partition... (in blue)

Should I wait, even though Odin states that it failed?

I read that one before and was afraid that it was the only solution.

Thanks for trying to help.

you get to use the latest version of android and possibly the last update the note 3 will get from verizon. you can switch back to 4.4.4 apparently... what ever the ota of 5 has in it you can have... you also dont need to worry about any root required apps. you can go ahead and uncheck unknown sources to protect vs that virus...

and we have not lost root you have we can access this work around to get 5.0 running in a vm on our devices...

We appreciate all your work, thank you for not giving up on this device! Although I am heavily leaning towards getting another device that isn't plagued with this locked bootloader problem .

I can't get this method to work, I haven't had any success

But Joel Droid, http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...batch-t2980857, seems to work but I haven't been able to get the apps back into the device, but it completed successfully at least.

I am at work and I don't have a cable with me so I can't do anything else until I get home for the evening

The tool you listed only gave me errors

Well I'm done, I need to build some more confidence before I attempt anything further. I managed to screw up a few cloned images :P

I haven't been able to get exposed working yet. I did get the rom deodexed, that was at the point when things stopped working.

Hopefully they get that "unofficial Samsung Xposed" to an official build and working soon. I really miss my per app DPI, more than I ever thought possible -.-

I personally am going to wait since there seems to still be some issues and would need to have Expose Framwork also working- (for hide notification /full screen module)
