That's what I did (after unrooting and reinstalling the stock OA3 recovery). I put the OTA OD2 zip onto the SD card, booted to stock recovery and installed. After it gets all done, you'll likely get a ton of apps failing and quitting. Just restart the phone manually.

Dunno if I want to root 5.0 on my S4. I rooted 4.4.2 on my Photon Q, intending to yank out most of the Google apps I never use but wasn't squeezed for space so I never did. On my Epic 4G I rooted and removed a ton of useless junk because it did get close to running out of room, even with moving as much as possible to the SD card.
