Wait, so what happened to this ROM? Is this no longer SlimKat anymore? Which version should I download? W03-CM12.1-hlte-20150517-2329.zip?

So yeah, a few questions. If you guys take a look at my attachments, you'll see I've been out of the loop for quite some time. So what's this about needing to flash a new baseband? Also, since I'm coming from a really old version should I wipe Caches + Data / Factory Reset or should I simply just wipe caches?

Any and all help would be much appreciated.

Yes use odin to update to latest baseband/ROM then root and install lollipop. I'm having issues with echoes on 5.1.1 ROMs on the receiving end of themselves

Today I just updated.

You have to do the following (I'm at SM9005, Snapdragon EU):

1. Update to an official 5.0:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...alaxy-t3029557

2. You'll need Odin (Attached)

3. You'll also need Pit-File for 32GB GN3 (Attached)

4. With that 3, you'll configure Odin with:

- PIT File (PIT Option)
- Firmware (AP)

a. Auto reboot
b. Re-Partition
c. F.Reset Time

5. Then you'll need to install CF-Auto-Root via Odin (attached) on AP (Do not "tick" Re-Partition this time)

6. And TWRP (attached) on AP (Do not "tick" Re-Partition this time)

7. Then, via Recovery install Super-SU (Attached)

Download Files

You can skip the root part.
- shutdown your device
- boot to Download mode via buttons combo
- upgrade bootloader and modem to Lollipop by flashing a Lollipop stock ROM via Odin
- flash a custom recovery (as far as I'm concerned I always use TWRP) via Odin
- shutdown your device
- boot to Recovery via buttons combo
- make a backup (just in case...) via TWRP
- make a full wipe via TWRP
- flash W03 ROM via TWRP
- flash SuperSU via TWRP if you want to get root
- reboot to System via TWRP

Since I have a T-Mobile Note 3, I should use this ROM correct? How do I boot to "Download Mode"? It's been a while.

Only thing I'm not looking forward to is having to use my old Windows laptop, but oh well. It'll be worth it.

Power your phone off (or pull the battery) - Press and hold Power + Home button and Volume Down

Does anyone know if it would be possible to get the PIE implementation from SlimKat and apply it to a Lollipop Rom? I recently flashed LP, but it does not have PIE baked in. I tried the PIE launcher from Play, but this thing's hideous. The background doesn't dim, you can't change the icons and the triggers are pretty sluggish in comparison to the PIE I've gotten used to.

SlimPIE is back on SlimLP, has been added a few days ago.

So I'm totally confused as to which Gapps I should download. There's like 6 options. I'm not gonna change the DPI so I can eliminate those two options, but what the hell is the difference between the "zero" and "mini" gapps? What's up with the "checksum" file?

Oh and why is there an option to remove NFC?

I'm pretty sure that Will posted a zip to remove NFC in the thread
