Fry, after your reply, I have just reinstalled your myplayer I can see that you have now re-enabled the download feature in version 1.28 (I was talking about 1.25 where a message came up saying that doanloads are for pro version only)

I hope this remains the case.

thanks very much !

It should be on the options menu - listed as either "Thumbnail quality" or "Episode thumbnails". You may find that your 3G connection compresses the images anyway as most operators have this as an "http service" by default.

Thanks FryWalker for making the download feature free again.

Another idea I had for you is that you could make the free version have maybe a limit e.g 10 hours worth of downloads a month but the full version could have no limit...

Thanks,
Jster

No jack thats a terrible idear (.

A better solution would be to have it COMPLETLY free as the bbc iplayer site is, i mean we already pay the dam tv company, and no one wants to pay them twice for the same programme.

I can respect the fact the developer would like some money for his troubles, and the app is that good i would not mind paying a ONE off fee for the app, ( A ONE OFF FEE, not monthly subscription).

But the other streaming options should stay the same .

This is one of those apps that can only get better, If the developer is willing to listen to the ppl, which i belive he is doing.

Thanks for all the hardwork and effort so far, but please bear in mind that the best things in life are FREE!! )

Yes I wasn't suggesting a monthly subscription I meant a one off fee would provide the full version. Anyway it would help the developer gain some money which I think he deserves for his efforts, without putting too many people at a disadvantage.
