Funny thing, some of us have 0 gapps, 0 useless bs, and machine works flawleslly.
You need corp apps, buy better machine.
You wont use proper lmk/vm+good kernel - BUY better machine.
Then, repeat.
and so on.
sorry, topic unsuscribed...there is nothing to discuss here - some are inwolved into bs, some of us - not.

you need stock capabilities for serving to corporations - THEN GO FOR STOCK. AND cry to them.
and go buy better machine.
Some dude squeezed miracles from slow, weak machine, and suddenly - GAPPS are not working?
GO FOR STOCK and leave.

So much hate going from you. Gapps are working. Everything is working. Its just some of them are not working smoothly. Also there is nothing bad in using google applications. If you hate it then it doesnt mean everyone need to stop using them.
Reason why I made a post here is because Im a noob in the whole Android mod scene. I dont know all the things. @ace2nutzer already made everything clear for me, for which I am grateful. If all you can do is flaming, then its better that you stop discussing anything here, because you are missing one very important point - this topic is made to discuss all sort of problems regarding this ROM.

As for the kernel, I will know if my phone will perform better in few days. For now , I tested it in Antutu. I OCed GPU to 600 Mhz and got 2500 points more than before.

How could you install apps if there's no store in your phone? How can you install store only and nothing else?
Or you just use your phone for standard calls and SMS? If that's the case you're way above your needs and that could explain why you're machine goes so flawlessly. BUT, I wouldn't but a Ferrari only to go work as janitor every day.

Actually it is possible without store. We could always install apk directly after downloading it from the web. And there are actually a lot of alternative to google 's application.

In the end its a matter of choice and I believe that's what Android is all about.

There's plenty apps that do not provide direct link to download, specially paid ones, and you'll be forced to pirate apps, so no choice given, which said by you is not what android is about.

Paid application is not the only model of purchasing. We could always donate to the developer, and there are application that does use that model.

And at the worse case, if there aren't any options, you could always make one yourself. So, the only thing that limits our choice is actually our skills.

Let's not drag this any longer. We might disagree on how Android ecosystem is, but we shouldn't force others to agree with our own view.

Guys, anyone has issues with Google Play Services? It's crashing now all the time. I tried clearing data for it, and it's fine for few hours and then it starts crashing again. Any idea how to fix this?

Let me explains something:
Sorry, haven't you hear about freeware?
I do not need to participate with google moloch.
Dependancy of googlestore to get FREEWARE is quite weird thing in my eyes, you know.
I am old windows mobile user, where 100% of apps i used were freeware, downloadable from normal links.
Google way is not my way.

Same thing here, it crashes every time an app tries to access my location.

Try this
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=61034998&postcount=230

or that
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=61087137&postcount=244

both ways are going into the same direction... Restricting the access to cache of google play services (com.google.android.gms)

But both should be uses as temporary solution. It came out that ROMs with compiled with toolchain 4.9 are needing an fix.
Seams that ROMs with toolchain 4.8 are not affected...

Or maybe google will change something in GMS again...

You are you others not.
Just don't mock/blame others who don't know "your" mystical ways or know less or just don't have the time to waste searching anything anywhere/everywhere when they can find a quick and usable answer.

If you don't want to be part of the solution, please, avoid becoming part of the problem.

For me, 11 works way better than 10. Smooth, great battery life, everything as it's suppossed to be.

Sorry, i didn't meant young, i meant "you", the n went on it's own will.
Just trying to point that as I am an expert on something but can't expect everyone to be it in my line of work, I hope you don't assume others have the knowledge, time or any other kind of resourses you have.
(but it seems you already understood)

Sorry for the OT, have a great time.

Any suggestion?

    Tips :
    • If you are updating from previous version it is enough to wipe cache only
    • First boot takes a while. Wait at least 5 mins for it to boot.
    • To activate Developer settings : Settings -> About phone -> press Build number 7 times
    • To activate 3-way reboot go to Developer settings and select "Advanced reboot"
    • ART booting can take about 10 minutes so be patient
    • If you dont like BLN , you can disable it in NovaThor Settings
    • You can switch internal and external storage in NovaThor Settings
    • Do not report Random Reboots if you are OV/UV and OC over 1000MHz
    • All about GPU OC and CPU OC/UC/OV/UV you can find HERE!!
    • REPORTS FROM ART WILL BE COMPLETELY IGNORED
ART is on ALPHA STAGE - It means that while it is included with the ROM, there is NO OFFICIAL SUPPORT FOR IT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Guys, as some of you probably know i bought new device. It is S3 Neo ( GT-I9301I ). I wont leave ace 2 development, i will always be there for help, and also i will release cm 11 as there are some updates available. I probably wont try to port andorid L to it but i will surely do final build of cm 11. Last days i was trying to fix live stream issue without any succes. Lot of work have to be done to make it work so i gave up on it, that bug will be there probably forever. You were great community where i started learning and developing my first roms and mods. Special thanks goes to @kyrillos13 and @mkel91 because they were guys that teached me basics of android development. Also i can mention few other people as @dh.harald @bagnz0r @jereksel @fedevd (i hope i didnt forget anyone ) and many other including best team in the world TEAM CANJICA :highfive: I also want to say thanks for all people that supported me, respected my work and donated to me. I received some donations even if i was working for free and thank you guys for providing me some pocket money. I dont like to write long messages but i had to write this one because this is community where i started my xda journey. I am now moving to next location , s3 neo development. I can suggest you guys to buy this phone because price is great, specifications, quality of production, desing .. and it is QUALLCOM ( it is enough reson to buy it ). ;)

    Enjoy ;)

Thanks man, i am really happy when i see comments like this. Of course it is updated. I mean ready for build but still camera and omx are problems. You can see changelog for next version in 2nd post. I hope we will soon fix that camera and omx ( or maclaw will open source ) so we can continue this project. Even if maclaw already have lot of users it doesnt matter. I will build for users that appreciate my work even if that are only 5-10 people but i believe (and hope) there is more.
    Cheers ;)
