Yes, use fastboot to unlock it. Give me the link for G6 cwm, I'll try it.

no root for me
Hello everyone. I've just bought EE Kestrel and cannot root it via towelroot app. My build number out of box is B122 and system pushed notification about new update which I didn't install yet.

Any suggestion? Towelroot says I'm rooted but under root verification there is no root permission at all and there is no super user app that will works.

Is anyone running Lollipop android 5.0 on the EE Kestrel(Huawei G535)?

If not have you seen http://limeywesty.blogspot.co.uk/201...535-to-50.html

Has anyone been successful with the above instructions?

Exposed Framework?
Hi all,
I've just successfully unlocked the bootloader and then rooted. I've used root check and it confirms root. I've installed superSU and that seems to be working OK.

BUT I've installed Xposed Framework and it seems ok, but when I open the app it says (roughly) "The framework is not currently active. Do you want to install and update?". I've confirmed yes and rebooted several times but it always says the same thing. I've installed modules without error, but they don't seem to apply any modifications, and Gravity Box just crashes when trying to open.

Any ideas what's going on? Are any other g535 users using Xposed successfully?

P.S. As a side note, I'm wanting to turn the EMUI system ui into something as close to stock KitKat as possible... any advice?
