My current kernels are not binary compatible with CM, meaning that a ROM needs to be compiled from my sources (primarily binaries are the issue). While it would be possible to put the binaries in a flashable zip or rebase to CM source, I am doing neither. I am rebasing to Qualcomm's latest reference source for MSM8974 on CodeAurora, which is what CM will be using going forward. We just need to fix music playback, then we'll be good to go, so hang tight for a little bit.

Whenever y'all have a sec, please try this build of PA with the CAF kernel (with much of my ExcaliBur code merged into it). Test for performance, battery, and music if possible (on previous builds, music was broken as long as DSP offload was enabled. I added some patches that may fix that, but don't have my M8 near me to test).

Thank you for your time (and good luck)

EDIT: Not booting. Link removed.

The Excalibur kernel is only compatible with AOSP roms

This thread is temporarily closed and will reopen when it regains compatibility with CyanogenMod and other ROMs. This will happen when I fix DSP offload and volume keys on the CAF kernel.
