You have to try few times in a row. It took me 20 minutes to flash successfully. It was very stressful, I can tell you. Just don't give up. I had to stock-reflash and then root again. It was really annoying, but in the end, it went fine, as I knew about.this weird situation ahead (not my first time flashing).

Seriously.. It works at first.. Flash root then flash recovery.. 2 steps.. That's it..

Actually flashing root (CF-Root may be faster, as CWM is part of it). But it didn't worked for me right away, this is bootloader issue I think. I had to repeat CF-Root flash three times too, to get its CWM. So for me, it made no difference. I flashed Philz CWM next time, because I was afraid that I will have to repeat it again and again....which confirmed little bit later. In the end, I was successful.

Worked for me. I had TWRP 2.87.0 installed and wanted this. Copied zip file to ext-sd card. Rebooted into TWRP, wiped and installed zip file. Powered down, rebooted into Philz. Yahooooo!!!!!

Your guess is good as mine.... It takes a very long time to wipe cache on my Galaxy S5 where as on my Galaxy S4 it takes a second....
