Has anyone ever tried to use WhatsApp on this ROM? I tried to download it, after it said "Error Installing" Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hello everyone!

I'm using this rom on GT-S7560, the phone never goes into deep sleep. Same thing happens on CM10.2 build, the only non-stock rom that works for me is CM10.1. But I haven't found anyone complaining about that issue, can't belive I'm the only one though... Please, any hints/solutions how to resolve this? Thanks!

check what causes this with wakelock detector from play store.

Most propably its the google play services causing a constant wakelock. (system.update.service)

check and report back

Thanks KlinkOnE, sorry that it took so long, had to re-flash it, since with that battery drain, its unusable on daily basis. Its like you suspected, SystemUpdateService from Google play services, screenshots included.

To fix that, just go to
Settings > Privacy> Privacy guard> scroll down to google play services > long press OR tap (depending on where you tap, both work) on it until you see "App ops" on top and the title "google play services"> scroll down then set "wake up" and "keep awake" to "denied".
Screenshot included.

This should fix that problem, at least it did for me.

Do you still have that problem btw? I installed it and it works just fine (as far as i know). I don't use whatsapp so i didn't bother creating an account. I have the same phone as you GT-S7560M. It only gave me a warning message about using a custom ROM (in screenshots), other than that, I don't THINK there would be any problems if I were to continue.

Well at least you got a prompt screen for the installation. After the file downloaded from the playstore, it says... "Internal file error"... I might have to reinstall CM11. Also, any luck on some updates for ION implementation?[emoji42]

Hmm maybe ... And I'm not a developer. I'm just a tester. I'm a Java developer still learning to code for android, let alone making roms, fixing bugs and implementing stuff lol :P

I had the same problem as you. In the end the problem is ART. Try installing it while in Dalvik and then move to ART.
