I'm pretty confused with these instructions, I have a VZW Note 3 on 4.3 and baseband N900VVRUBMI9 and I use safestrap. Can't I just use safestrap and this to load it up?

Can't use ss for end result. I've not made this move, but I'm letting you know you should read through process at least 3 times before proceeding. It's a bit more complicated than what you may be used to.

He's right. SafeStrap can't be made compatible with Lollipop, so if you want Lollipop, you'll need to use FlashFire. I'd also recommend going the extra mile and installing MultiSystem so you can experiment with multiple ROMs and in case you need to fix something.

I'd also point out the advantage of using MultiSystem is that if you have a xposed module that goes sideways you always have stock to fall back to and not lose root.
