to change kernel settings, you can use https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...kstermod&hl=en

As for gapps, you can just download the apps straight from the store...

Is there something that does NOT work on this ROM?
I am about to try something else on my dad's Xoom MZ604. OmniROM 4.4.4 from November 2014 is extremely laggy.

As far as I know, everything was working fine. Just try to overclock a little the rom to make it more buttery-smooth.

I am on Omni ROM 4.4.4 from 24 November.
I do not remember if I have bigparted, but I think I have.
I have now downloaded the EOS ROM and ready to install.
What all do I really need to wipe?
I have not downloaded GApps. Hope I can download apps directly from playstore.

I don't think you'll have the playstore without loading GApps.
