When I got through the "Android is upgrading..." dialogue it seemed to get stuck on "Starting apps..." with the spinner.. I was right about to pull my battery and retry, then it completed and finished the boot fine. I just needed to be more patient.. The next time I went to clean flash a new ROM, I followed the steps to convert to F2FS then let it boot. Post boot, I jumped straight into KTweaker to see if it worked but it said "ext4" for system, data and cache.. This confused me because in KT-TWRP it showed the partitions as F2FS!! What I realized was that I hadn't enabled Root in Developer Options..
Freakin' Lollipop >: /
So, it was just a case of KTweaker not having access to check.
I'm sure that some of the people (that I've noticed here) who have had issues with F2FS may be running into these situations.
Anyways, @ktoonsez thanks again for the awesome kernel!! Hope all's well with you.

So what is suppose to be the difference here?

Do you mean the difference between ext4 and F2FS??
From what I know.. F2FS was developed as an open source file system by Samsung.. So it makes sense that using it on our S5's would be a more natural file system for our devices as our hardware is made by Samsung.. I noticed a significant increase in benchmark performance after switching to F2FS.

OK make sense. I like benchmarks but more about battery saving. I'm always looking ways to save battery.

This is an awesome kernel for the s5. Getting good battery with my custom settings. Anyone here have recommended battery saving settings to get good SOT and battery life.

Hi.
Thanks for this ROM; I'm very pleased with the performance.
Just one question though:
I'm using Galaxy Project by @djb77
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3138583.
After loading Ktoonsified v4 and running Antutu I can't get past 40000 (even on stock it was around 46000). I don't care about the result as everything is smooth, but the difference from "your" 50k is huge.

Could the problem be that I'm on ext4?Click image for larger version
