No offense to the current developer... This is otherwise a quick, snappy ROM.

When I was using Civato's JB 4.1 ROMs, the graphic performance used to be good. I'm not sure whether graphic requires have increased in the meantime. Haven't gotten around to format & try them again to rule out my A500 having aged. Aim to try shortly.

So I left it and went to bed. This morning it still shows ADROID word with running light (Acer boot animation). I rebooted tablet - still the same boot animation...

Any ideas what's wrong?

Thanks!

I think I head sometime back (when attempting to install Linux on my tab) that our A500's came in two versions, each with a slightly different partition layout. Maybe that could be a reason.

I'm afraid I can't be of much help other than suggesting to re-download & attempt again. If it fails, maybe the tab doesn't like the ROM or vice versa.

Have a look at tegraowners.com (in my signature too), you will find there the last OMNI and CM 12.1 with a fantastic linux kernel (3.8) for our good old device

Both have that great kernel I would say both are fast and stable but Thor him self is more an OMNI fam... . So I would say it's a question of personal preferences at the end... .
