I had took the sysctl.conf out do you want me to put it back in? all it is doing is trying to chmod on the 3D hardware, that is all that is in the file. Can the call to it be killed?

[EDIT] I put it back in for the time being. my mirror is fixed now. People won't get that eror

sysctl.conf originally tried to link some thing. I noticed it never worked so I deleted the link command in sysctl.conf but left the empty file. Worked fine for me.

the only 2 lines I saw in the file, from the 4.1 ROM is

busybox chmod 666 /dev/msm_hw3dc
busybox chmod 666 /dev/msm_hw3dm

and this is being taken care of elsewhere

I cant get the call log/contacts list from superD or Cyanogen mod to work with this. I copied the phone.apk and contacts.apk but i guess because of the 1.6 vs 2.1 difference it wont work?

is there a screen shot or video of this? I have heard people mention it but I have not scene it and I would like to.

Also the framework will be different from 1.6 to 2.1 so not everything will work from 1.6

I was looking at the version from the 3.2 ROM. Must have been changed since then. There is a lot of redundancy in the start up. Glad Kolohe is fixing it up!

put it back in but delete the context.. the lines within the sysctl.conf, dont delete the file itself: )

I tried this version: (for nexus 1 im guessing) and it seems to have installed but it's missing the feature for grouped call log, the 1.6 version has that.

Also I think the changelog is a bit misleading, for example it lists cardock but with the latest flash I dont even see that there? :eek:

Will do when I get home. The 2 lines aren't actually hurting anything though, may be just spinning wheels

yups there s alot of things running on start up that shouldn be... IE zipalign... so yeah it needs alot of cleaning up for efficiency: )

Got it working, fast and stable rom, thank you for this release. Are there any themes for it?
