No offense but i'm not a troll at all, this only disables almost all samsung stock apps. There's a google docs out there with people sourcing whats safe and descriptions of what all these apps do, it's perfectly fine.

Edit: Decided to upload photos of whats frozen. I've used this same setup for months on my note 3 and very similar with my note 2.

Edit #2: I believe this is similar to the spreadsheet I used https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...sharing#gid=16

First off I want to apologize to pearse, its not a troll post and in my haste I didnt see the /strike formatting, in Tapatalk its doesn't process the HTML tag properly.

He provided a comprehensive list of WHAT he HAS frozen, and WHAT SHOULDN'T be. He has also been so kind as to reference his source, which I also used in the past when I was just starting out.

Secondly I've edited my previous posts to reflect this.

That's cool! All the stuff I always wanted to backup and uninstall and but never had the courage to do it even with a thousand nandroid backups! Now I am going to try it, although I have only on question, you don't like visual voicemail? Your old school or what? LoL

Over the past few months I've not only frozen all of Samsung's junkware, i've removed it. Mind you, a nandroid backup came 1st, even prior to freezing. You don't have to have a custom recovery in order to access nandroid backups - you can restore it via

This is excellent. Thanks OP and others who have contributed for making this list available.

Does anyone know where I can find the google doc that 'pearse' was mentioning? (Not the link on his post...)

love my note3 - but I seriously hate bloat & that's what almost all manufacturers do. So suggesting that someone use another device is pretty pointless. Samsung is getting worse too - between knox - no more microSD slot - non-removable battery ... that's how many spell "FAIL".

Oh! - thanks for the list!
