Quick question: What's the difference between this and 1.14.401.2 which is already in the Original Rose ROMs thread? Upgrade from .1 to .2 does not require HardSPL, therefore it doesn't break the warranty, am I wrong?

I think you are wrong, for many htc devices you can't break the warranty replacing rom and bootloader because you can do the revert operation is a nice guide for reverting back a kaiser device ...for a rose device I don't know exactly how you can do it, but I think is very similar.
