I said that I used Nextapp SDFix. It says it "worked", then when I used the app PhotoGrid to save straight to me extSD, it told me I couldn't. I really just need to know if its just a problem with the app or if the exploit didn't work correctly. I ran another "SD fix" app after Nextapp and it told me I had already setup the fix.

Maybe you could try the PhotoGrid app and tell me if the app itself is messin' with me?

Sort of a SWAG (Scientific Wild Ass Guess), but you might try n see if uninstalling the app, and reinstalling it incase a link was broken or something similar.

I already said that I've used that SDFix. If you could do me the favour and download PhotoGrid, try and see if it lets you save to ExtSD, that would be appreciated. The SDFix runs fine, reboot, everything looks ok, just the specific app PhotoGrid.

UPDATE: I just used Pixlr Express, that seemed to work fine. It seems like PhotoGrid needs an update to support this.

Install this and you're good to go. Only thing is that you need root for the app to work

For example: after installing one game (normal, on internal memory), choose in Foldermount the obb folder (that is where almost every app put big amount of data) and link it to a folder on external SD (as result, foldermount will offer you to move existing data). Set Foldermount to automatically mount it on boot, and voila!

link: at operating system level, that directory seems as on internal memory structure, but in reality it resides on external card.

Thank you

SD Card
I have Android 5.0 on my S5.
Anything from the camera goes to SD.
I have moved many apps to SD, some cannot be moved. I don't know why. Groove cannot be moved to SD.
My standard music is on the SD.
So, the SD is not wasted completely.

Just root, repartion your sdcard to ext4,buy link2sd from google play, mount partition. You can choose that sd to be the default install path. I have 30 gb of games on my 64 sdcard. Is an easy thing to do...it takes around 10 min...there are many tutorials on web
