Yup, thanks! My phone was bad and I had to return it, so I'm G2-less now.

Ok, I just got another G2 today and I've already rooted and flashed a recovery. But it came with LP 5.0.2 30f version. What do I have to do to be able to start flashing some of the ROMs floating around like Cloudy or CM?

Well since it had LP to begin with you should be fine. But if you do run into issues flash the LP bootstack. I don't know if cloudy has been patched for stagefright. I know cm has been and other aosp too. Do some research before you flash.

Wondering why stumproot does not works on my g2 d80020y. Also I cant find stumproot on play store.

Never mind. I restarted the phone and it was rooted even though it said fail.

Now... Which is the best and stable rom?

Thanks!

For my G2, I just used ioroot. It worked like a charm. Just don't change the recovery and you SHOULD be able to keep doing OTAs. At least, I could before I switched to G3.
