Is why i thought this was important.

Yeah, that's what i'm saying man, i think that the N1 froyo port is using a mix of both; that's what i got out of it.

Mod edit: not dev related, moved to general

I noticed talk about thread being redundant and duplicate (incl. OP), is this thread worth continuing? just a few opinions pls, which I will delete for cleanup in case the thread continues

Maybe redundant yes, but with a little new info on a really hot topic that most are very interested to hear about, and may not have seen it in zens thread, so this helps cut down on the 50 useless posts asking about our froyo port or asking when well finally get it.....BTW thanks Draken for keeping such a close eye on things to help us avoid useless clutter.
This thread is like a butterfly, technically its a bug, but who wants to kill a BUTTERFLY? XD

Side note: ^^ Over 4MB of crap in your signature...? Really?

I, for one, am *very* interested in seeing a port of Froyo to the CDMA Hero. The devs here could probably make it work with what they have available to them right now, but I bet things will be even easier once HTC releases their .29 kernel source code.
