Ok i am a bit confused that how to determine that how many golders we have to make. Sometimes i have seen five folders and sometimes only one. So can anyone tell me which animations need more than one folder

way too much work for something so simple
Just like everything else on this site, way too much fluff and nonsennse. Unfortunately I can't turn javascript off on people like I can this site.
It's real simple people.
#<apt-get> <yum> install ffmpeg
ffmpeg -i /path/to/my/video/file.mp4 /path/to/my/bootanimation/photos/photoset-%3d.jpg

Hiii sir, i have succesfully created a bootanimation.
In the stock one, there are three parts and i have created a bootanimation similar to it.
but when i use my boot animation in my phone, only two parts are playing.
the configuration in the desc was
720 1280 30
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1
p 1 0 part2
but in the stock boot animation, the configuration in the desc was
720 1280 30
c 1 0 part0
c 0 0 part1
c 1 0 part2
there is the difference in the code, there was 'c' instead of 'p'.
can u tell me what is the difference...........??

p= Play folder, untill bootup.
c = Play entire part, even if bootup completes. Phone will not start per say, untill the entire bootanimation completes.

Is there any manual method to save bootanimations??
If I create part folders and desc file with code, compress it into zip file(bootanimation.zip) and place it
in respective folder, change permissions, does it work?
Because the tool only compiles in 'p'- Format and I want to do it in 'c' format.
Help would be appreciated... Thanx in advance.

I would think you could open the desc file and edit the 'p' to a 'c'. Than recompress as storage and it should work.

My bootanimations.
Here are my bootanimations . Some of the bootanimations here I did not create entirely on my own. Some of them were made by another party and I've just edited them a bit to meet my preference. Most of the bootanimations in the folder have been made available in different phone resolutions. If a bootanimation isn't available in your phone resolution please let me know what resolution your phone is and I'll try to get a copy made for your phone resolution as soon as I can. Or you can always edit the bootanimation desc.txt file yourself if you know how. ALSO AS A WARNING I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PHONE BECOMING BOOTLOOPED OR BRICKED. YOU ADD THESE BOOTANIMATIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING DON'T ATTEMPT TO ADD THEM TO YOUR PHONE. Here is the link to the bootanimations: https://mega.nz/#F!ONdyHTYB!ArfwFuVYQdawg3CyQPypBg
