Thank you and will do @dr.ketan.

A quick question on a slightly related matter. Will CF-Auto Root work on Lollipop on Note 3 9005? - since this post specifically says it is built for 4.4 boot loaders only?

(only works on 4.4 bootloaders, if you're still on 4.3 use the old version which you can find here: http://d-h.st/J32)

CF-Auto-Root is not yet available for all carrier-specific Note3's. Link me to stock firmwares for these devices as they appear, and I might be able to make a device-specific CF-Auto-Root.

If not, do you have any suggestions/pointers on what to use? (I have asked this question elsewhere - have not gotten a response from anyone in two days)

I don't have n9005 so no idea but best way to root is flash custom recovery and then flash supersu beta 2.49 zip by Chainfire. This is best method to root

Sent from my SM-G9250 using xda premium

I did it @dr.ketan. Installed TWRP and then SuperSU followed by your app.

I can confirm recording is now working on OG2! Many thanks!

Strangely my Note 3 struggled thru the install - had to pull battery every time. (Kept getting stuck - would say "updating android apps" and then say its not responding. Now while I have root, the phone is not as responsive as before. I tired resetting cache from TWRP. Should I reinstall Lollipop afresh and redo the whole thing?

Edit : Dont know if its related, but now I'm getting 'Unknown google play error" triggered by Google Play Music. Have deleted all app data and disabled it.

Earphone volume low
I have a just quick question. My phone is N9005 android 4.4.2. When I fixed with this application my phones earphone volume is very very low. I googled somethig and found some videos about change settings on /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml file. There are a lot of volume settings. I changed some of these but no lucky. Which one I should change to boost up earphone volume?
