I'm unsure. If I were certain about the partitions for the radio or recovery... I've made a backup of what I think is the radio and recovery, but am concerned about posting it and having someone brick their device...

I restored the 4.20.531.4 nandroid backup when I was previously on SkyDragon Lollipop. Then I flashed the recovery image given by this link https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934527414. The phone booted up fine and the OTAs installed. Now I am at Marshmallow. However, my WiFi is always turning off randomly. Also, when I do "adb reboot recovery", I get a red triangle. Also, my software status in the bootloader is modified, even though I am on stock. Why? Do I need to run the RUU to officially update everything? I also cannot download anything from the Play Store.

The wifi issue is typically a firmware issue not matching (from my experience of what I have seen posted on xda). Below is the firmware on my phone that was OTA and running. I am currently not having any issues with WIFI (now bluetooth with my car since update is a different story).

Oh also the red triangle is the delivered recovery. Try the fastboot boot trwp from the boot loader.

For others (not sure how everyone does this) - historically I have backed up my recovery partition and a non-rooted backup so that I can go back to stock anytime. Since Lollipop, I have actually not installed TWRP, but used the fastboot boot twrp.img method. This way I still have the stock recovery inplace but allows me to switch between stock ROM (don't install super su on restore) and ones off of XDA.

Looking for 6.0 recovery. I'm already on 6.0 firmware but didn't think I'd be so difficult to find it. I am coming from gpe ROM not ruu so I haven't messed with my cid/mid. Couldn't fit the recovery after 2 hours searching on the main HTC one thread. They just don't have it listed. Any help

I've no idea if anyone is still paying attention to this thread, but I've got a situation where my M8 is stuck in the fastboot menu. Just woke up one night to find it in that state. The phone IS NOT rooted or modded in anyway,
so I'd like to know if I'll be able to reinstall a ROM on it using the instructions here.
Thanks in advanced.
