Default GPRS Settings for Globe Telecom - Philippines

1. Everything is left default (i.e. no usernames and proxies)
2. Modem Type: Cellular Line (GPRS)
3. Access Point: internet.globe.com.ph

I used this setting in my UK version of XDA with:

ROM version 3.17.03 ENG
ROM date: 05/15/03
Radio version: 4.21.00
Protocol version: 32S54

All went well .. i can surf the net without any problem.


Now .. this is my quesiton?

My friend bought a new unit of XDA (Asian Version) with:

ROM version: 3.20.06
ROM date: 07/30/03
Radio version: 4.21.00
Protocol version: 32S54


I used the same setting but it couldn't connect? How can i resolve this problem?

Have you tried your SIM in his phone? In other words: could it be that his subscription doesn't allow GPRS?
