Default XDAII Memory

Hello alls

I have heard that XDAII does´t lose programs installed if its battery over ¿What can you tell me about this?, ¿What kind of memory it uses?. I have heard programs installed are saved in a flash ROM memory what make the information stay.
I want to know all you can tell me about the internal funcionality XDAII

The XDA2 has 14.5 MB of memory under "\Storage" (and 16 MB at "\Extended_ROM", holds provider-specific data, not normaly visible) which both survive if the machine loses all power. The 128 MB of main RAM are gone in this case. There is a small backup battery, so you change batteries (they are removable now) without losing main RAM.
