Odin stuck at Set partition

I forgot to uncheck the repartition and now my phone is not displaying anything and my computer won't recognize it. I tried taking the battery out and then restarting it but nothing.

just flash an kernel,without going to download mode through odin flash a kernel,i had the same problem and fixed it,it was an soft brick

Thank you, for god's sake!!! I tried EVERYTHING to flash a ROM in recovery mod and it stuck again and again and this was the solution... So simple but that was it

how much time should it takes ?

I've tried twice until now... same issue: blocked on set partition.
first time i've wait around 30 minutes. second time i let it few hours without result, still "set partition".

how long should take this operation? I want to know after how many minutes should I try other option (boxes checked/unchecked; processes killed; battery taken; etc.)

It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes at most according to my experience. I suspect your memory might have failed, but I'd like a second opinion. Can anyone else chime in?

finnaly i gave up.... with "set partition" not checked I've succeded to flash it.

i just tried to flash ginger bread 2.3.6 on galaxy gt i9003 but its stops after leave cs.....i just pulled the battery and tried to on...but my mobile didnt get on...pls help..sorry for my bad english i am not good in english

I think the I9003 requires different rom from the I9000. Are you sure that you are using the right file(s)?

i got similar problem and using latest version for odin worked perfectly
