2.2 doesn't come all the way up. I have no way of installing/launching an app.

Default Data Issues

For anyone having issues making it through the setup of connecting you need to set up and APN (Access Point Name). This can be done by pressing the set up wireless button on one of the first screens of the setup. Then click on access point names, then menu, then new. Put in the following settings. Name:Internet, APN:Internet, Username:your wireless username, for verizon it is Yournumber@vzw3g.com, then the password. For verizon it is vzw.
If someone knows the settings for mms that would be great i cant get it to work

here is what i have for mms on sprint:

settings:
Name: Sprint
APN: Android
Username: Sprint
MMSC: hhtp://mms.sprintpcs.com
MMS Port: 80
MMC: 310
MNC: 995

everything else is: <not set>

these setting can be added to the default APN. no extra apn is necessary.

this will get the outgoing to work. incoming still is not working afaik.
pointless at this time as the sdcard is not working so we can not send out an mms with anything attached and no incoming. waiting for the sdcard to start working to continue working on this.
Model: Samsung Galaxy S3

bell i have no idea. your best bet is to find the settings and play with the apn to see if you can get something to work.

I am not sure if this will work on Bell, but try
APN = internet

I am not sure if Bell's CDMA pda phone support mms anyway.
If Bell didn't, then MMS info is no need.
