Thanks, just removing the clock widget and re-adding it with full screen weather animation solved it.

It doesn't have to be set to a specific city (which is good as mine isn't found by the search, but it shows correctly from the 'current location')

Ok, I have a locked T-Mobile GSM HTC Hero, it's the 1.5 firmware and i updated the build and is now 2.73.110.26
Do i have to downgrade (goldcard) it before i can root, and by doing the goldcard can anything muck up and if it does can it be fixed?
