UPDATE: There will most like never be a custom ROM for the Shadow 2009. If you own one, you can only modify the official ROM by theming and installing apps. If someday there is a custom ROM, you will see it posted in this forum or at www.allshadow.com

If I had the time I'd make one ...But by the time I have the time I'm sure I'll have figured out how to finish my '07... OR... I'll be on a Touch Pro or something.
go figure.

However, relatives still use the '09, brand new, and it would be fun to take a weekend and cook something up for them. If cooking is easier than themes... well, then it's got to be cakewalk most of it.

but it would be unofficial for sure. AND use at your own risk (send me the dead phone for parts) of course.

The problem isn't cooking a ROM, it's that there is not and never will be an official update. Without that, no one can reverse engineer a hardSPL or jumpSPL. You can dump your device's ROM and recook it till youre blue in the face, but without hardSPL or jumpSPL there is no way to flash it to the device.
