Here are the HTC 2.1 Hero files.

These are not the OTA files. these are the signed RUU.exe files from HTC. This should help for people that are looking for these files.

Just tried it on a rooted hero, worked fine, it's now 2.1 HTC stock rom and everything seems to work fine (non-root).

Just to further say, although this will just get ignored.

If you run one of these RUU's you will not only lose root, you will lose the ability to root ever again.

I know people who changed ROM via OTA to 2.1 and back to the 1.5 by flashing extracted parts of RUU via fastboot

The rom put out ota and the ruu are not quite the same rom.
