Default X10 Rooted - What Apps to Install?

Apologies if this has been done before. I have literally just got my X10 and my only other phone was a Nokia 1208!

I've just rooted my X10 and cleared all the pre-installed Sony Ericsson apps, leaving me with a blank canvas. I have no idea which are the best apps, so maybe some of you guys could make some recommendations on the what are the really key apps that you need to get for the below tasks.

I have a limited data plan, so it's kind of key that my apps aren't too bandwidth intensive.

Web browsing:

Contacts:

Twitter:

Facebook:

Wordpress:

Gmail:

Maps:

Calendar:

E-Mail:

File manager:

PDF Viewer:

MS Office Viewer:

Media player:

Camera:

Other obvious stuff I've missed:

Maybe someone can create a sticky thread as a beginners guide to the X10/Android, because I know I sure as heck am bamboozled by just how much information is out there.

Thanks!

Hi.

There is this thread for apps - Apps.

I know what you mean, I'm a newbie too and finding it a bit "bamboozling" lol. I will be spending a bit of time here over the next few days.

Okay, for my part, I've found that Opera Mini is even better than the already good default browser. Because Opera Mini uses server side compression, you get noticeably faster downloading and rendering of web pages. Very important for me, as I have a limited data plan.
