Default How to push swype to mytouch slide...

was looking for any help on how to get swype to work on the phone... what version of the software does work and exactly how did you get it to work. Any help would be appreciated, as this program is the dealbreaker on a rom, to me. Tried SlideIT and I don't like it much. Thank you for your help, folks.
Samsung GALAXY NOTE II (AT&T)
Running : [4.2.2] LiquidSmooth 2.3

THANKS to ALL of the very unselfish and awesome devs who work so tirelessly to bring us a smorgasbord of tasty roms!!! Thank you, kang gang!!!
Bye bye, G1, MT3GSlide, Vibrant, Sensation 4G, Tmo Galaxy S II and AT&T Galaxy S III...was nice knowin' ya.

Have you tried to install it in /system/apps?

You might have to go into recovery to mount /system then while in recovery try and adb install

Dont know if it will work, but that is what I would try.

Good luck

I have found a few hvga Swypes on here that work with most roms and you install it regular-no need for adb.Just search for hvga Swype 1.56(latest version,i think) and you good to go.
Works on most roms but not all,im currently on htcclay's MR1V4 Remix and it doesnt work.Worked on Slideteam,CM and few more, current MR1V4 has Swype included.
