I met a chap at Schiphol Airport last Friday(4th) who was using a new magician - badged up as an MDA. It as small and neat with a screen half the size of an XDA, and overall a little thicker than the XDA

He let me have a play with it - screen was very readable, and it had a more robust feel than my XDAII

All in all a nice looking device - he said it had all the features of the XDA.

He also had the distinct advanage of working for HTC!

Did you get his number for further (insider) questions?

I assume it was no the magician that we have all seen pictures of correct? I believe that device is the same size screen, correct?

Did he have any idea when/were Tmo (you said MDA) would be releasing it?
