Disabling Start menu cache

I was wondering if it's possible to disable the cache of the Start menu icons. I'm using SPB mobile shell, so technically I never see the Start menu, but it's still there, and the icons are eating my RAM. Unfortunately, SPB doesn't have any access to this cache, so the icons still have to be loaded. SPB menu is linked to the Start menu, so if I delete the links from /Windows/Start menu, they disappear from the SPB menu. Is there any way to disable the cache? Yours faithfully markusj
