Hi, Could you pls. help me? I donīt know why that happens, but when I install froyo 2.2 y my phone, it installs ok, initialize ok, and then after two seconds, it shuts down. I tried several builds, and no way...
If I install 2.1 everything is ok!! (actually, desirebuild v5 runs great in my phone).

Of course, I follow exactly the instructions, install the whole android file in the sd card, and all that...

Rom: bsb beast 5
radio: 2.10

Can anyone pls help me? I donīt know whatīs wrong...

Thanks in advance,
yeyes

It takes hours but it never boots into android.

After i completely removed the dualboot progam and all android files from my sd-card I can boot it one time.

My HD2 (with latest NRG ROM") freezes when i press the restart button in android.

Does anybody have a solution for this strange behavior?

Thanks for you quick respones in advance...

you are not suppose to use the Reboot function in Android, as it does nothing but freeze the phone since it tries to reboot Android from the phones NAND.

Default Is it safe to go back WM 6.5?

If I don't want to run Android any more, is it safe to just run existing WM or I have to reinstall a new WM ROM? and do I need to format SD card again?
Thanks.

Thanks.
If you dont want to run Android anymore just shut it down and reboot into WindowsMobile. Yo ucan then delete all relevent files without any problems. No need for a new Rom or to format your storage card.

So what makes me so crazy is i know its not fully ready but Man it ran great for the whole day. So all it does now is just hang with all the number and letters scrolling down and after a min or so will keep repeating the same line of numbers over and over again and the penguin at the top of the screen just like fall the others did with the black screen background.

the last build i tried was ----
HTC Leo: HD2HD2 Android Development
[BUILD] [27.07.2010] [mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense RC1.1] [Kernel: Cotulla 2.6.32.9 #71] Radio is 2.10.50.26 g15.39.50.7u D2 egergy 8G on my tmobile phone now.

To me it just looks like every time i reboot the phone i lose android. so now i am going to reboot every single time install something in android i will reboot and see which one of the programs i install is messing me up.
Someone else was able to help me with this problem, (and I thank them again!). My answer is for starters NOT to dual boot, when you go into the file explorer in WM, before you CLRCAD and HARET, delete the entire folder titled android. It was explained to me that this folder only contains cache files and is no harm to delete as it will "remake" that folder every time you reboot. That is what I do and it works for me. I have also seen suggested to keep all of your android files inside of the android folder and just keep the android folder on the root of your sd card. I have not tried that one though. I was very frustrated with this problem too but have now powered off several times the last 3 days and am able to reboot with all settings saved and ready to go as long as I delete that android folder before boot. If you noticed before the repeating numbers it gave an error about not having rootfs on the root of your sd card and you need to unzip a copy and place it there, (not exact, just going off of memory...) I think there should be a new thread about this as I have found I am definitely not the only one to run into this, I tried approx 6 different WM roms and 3 different android roms on each before someone gave me this tip. needless to say, I was extremely happy/angry to find out that something this simple solved my problems. Don't know if it helps, but I am using a Miri WM rom (don't know which version, i'll call it "NEW") and darkstone android with the new ext2 file for working gps. Yeah, I'm a noob when it comes to posting, but I've been here for a while so don't hate too hard, lol.
