Retro Football Manager - C64 Edition

Many years ago I played simple Football manager game on Commodore C-64 with my friends. We could selected one team of Italia and checked results on monitor screen. It was funny and addictive. Few weeks ago in a pub we remembered it. I learned visual basic and created this game. I hope, you enjoy it with us.

System requirements:

• Windows Mobile 6.x (WVGA)
• Microsoft .net Compact Framework 3.5
• NETCFv35.Messages.EN.cab!!!
• Tested on HTC HD2 (duttys, energy),HTC Diamond2, E-Ten M700

Konwn issues
Black textboxes in selecting managers

• GTX them do it - enter manager name to black box, it works

Menu / End game - can't back to selecting game

• If you don't have "ok/exit" buton on your skin you must restart game

How To Play
Choose type of play

• Demo
  • 4 Teams
  • 6 Rounds
  • 1 Season
  • No save
  • No cups
  • No promotions and relegations
• Quick game
  • Italy - Serie A
  • 20 Teams
  • 38 Rounds
  • 1 Season
  • Save to Slot 1
  • Cups, promotions and relegations
• Legendary
  • Choose League from combo box
  • Unlimited Seasons
  • Cups, promotions and relegations
  • Save to Slots 2-8
  • Manager Actions
• Load
  • Load saved game from Slot 1-8

Enter name of manager to a textbox next to team

• You can be a Manager of whichever team
• Some of teams are checked - it's mark of Top team

Button Start will save manager names to teams

On Main screen you can see League Table or play Next Round

• Next Round will generate matches current league round
• If you play more than one round, last round results will be on bottom of the screen

End Season

• If you play Legendary you may continue to next season. Other modes end.

Menu

• Hall of Fame shows all managers with reputation
• End Game saves and closes current game.
• Exit will close aplication.

Managers

• Manager History - you can select one of managers and show their statistics
• Activate Manager - you can activate manager who currently doesn't play and deactivate freeone
• Save game if you can
• Resign - resign from current team
• Retire - retire

Top Teams

• Top team has bigger chance to win, but if it loses, oponent gets more reputation

Manager names

• Every name from Legendary is saved to db
• You can play many games with the same name
• All statistics are saved to this name
• One name has only one reputation
• You can play many seasons and your reputation wil be terribly great

Tactics, formations and other manager features

• No one
• You can be sacked or offered a new job

Cups, promotions and relegations

• All is planned
• Positions for european cups and relegation are shown in League Table

Game system and reputations

• Home teams can win easily
• Top teams too
• Bigger victory = more reputation
• Away victory too
• Beat team with greater reputation = more reputation too

It does not work on my xperia x1. I installed it onto my storage card and all I get is the following error message:

if yes try add .dll from attachment

Not yet, but I would appreciate it if you tried it and sent me screens, thanks.

Still no luck. I unpacked the file you attached into the folder where Retro Football Manager is installed. But I still get the same error message. Please see the screenshot I have added. There you can take a look what files are in the corresponding folder on my phone.

i'm sorry, but i still havn't idea, where is the problem

Maybe a problem because my rom is a German one? Have you ever tried running your software on a non English device?
