Default [Help] Loaded AT&T ROM onto GSM i9000

Hi all,

I accidentally loaded an AT&T ROM onto my Galaxy S. Now, I cannot boot it to downloader mode to flash another ROM. Anyone can advise?

Everytime, it boots into the AT&T splash screen and the screen turns on and off ... regardless of the key combo I used.

Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE N7105

try volume up+volume down + power buttons

instead of power+volumen up+home buttons

Donation is appreciated but not required, a cup of Coffee would suffice

No go. Tried alot of different combinations and the phone just won't go into downloader mode. Worse is the phone absolutely refuse to boot up once it is plugged in (whether USB or charger). When it's plugged in, it will not even display the battery charging icon.

When not plugged in, it will only boot to the AT&T splash screen and then goes into an endless loop of showing the screen and showing a black screen.

Think I have absolutely bricked the phone. I need advise. Can Samsung reflash the phone if I bring it in? I am willing to pay for them to do so. Or must the whole motherboard be replaced? If the latter, I am not willing to do so as getting a new phone will cost much cheaper (I still have a line I can recontract)

try this, i read from else where...

Let the bricked phone turn on, let it go into the stuck screen.
after a very looooooooong while, it will turn itself back off

after that, use the 3 button combination to turn it back into the DOWNLOAD mode

hold Volume Down + hold Home + hold Power

2 sec later should go directly to the Download Mode screen

can you get into the Download mode?

if you can then it's easy with Odin

I bought the phone back to Samsung and they also cannot do anything. In the end, they changed the whole motherboard. Thankfully, they did it under warranty.
