Default TVCatchup.com - Flash Lite

Hey,

Was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to test the tvcatchup.com on a 2.1 Desire and see if it works?

I'm pretty sure it would work in Flash Lite although I can't test this (I'm using CyanogenMod and don't want to go off it).

Make sure you load the full website and not the mobile version (m.tvcatchup.com) you may need to change your User Agent.

Thanks All.

hi,

Have check and comes up as requiring flash - assume the lite does not run.

It states that it can run on a PC and Iphone only.

I think it would run but probably slowly. Why not just run it in full flash on Froyo? There are a loaf of custom ROMs available if you don't want to run the stock OTA update.

Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

I have Froyo. Basically... long story short, I wrote an Android Guide for their forum but then learnt that apparently Flash Lite didnt work =/. I didn't see why this would be the case so thought I would get someone with a Desire to test (I didn't want to get rid of CM6 to flash a 2.1 based rom just to check).

Thanks Damo

Ah, fair enough. I struggled to get most flash video to work on 2.1 to be honest so I can see that it wouldn't work.

It used to work on 2.1 and doesn't on Froyo.

It worked great for me on Froyo using the low quality streams.

I could only get the medium quality streams to work with Froyo!

Low and High played the advert but then seemed to buffer 'for ever'.
