I took it for a walk - and just as I expected, it was crap, it got very scared every time we had to turn a corner - one could never know what's behind it - and it closed its eyes and made some wild guesses.
Yes, it could lock on to many, yes, it could lock on with SNR less than 20, but as soon as I checked it in GPS Test right after installing, I knew it wouldn't work - the SNR ratios jumped up and down all the time, sats in/out all the time. I'm afraid to say it, but I don't think we'll ever get a good GPS in the Galaxy S, I'm pretty sure it's a major hardware flaw.
