I know it runs when you connect your sdcard and when you boot the phone (when it is mounted), but I have an FTP server that I torrent on and download the files to my phone and the music won't get picked up until I run the media scanner. So I need a way to force the media scanner other than unmounting and mounting the sdcard. Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App WHY YOU DO NOT NEED A TASK KILLER
